Kind of hard to see it but the side view shows it a little better. Put hair in ponytial. Take a small section of hair at top of ponytail and split in 3 for braid. Start french braiding but instead of grabbing hair from the side you grab it from underneath and the other side and bring it over (small piece at a time). I tried it on wet hair-hard to do. Dry hair was too slippery. Damp hair worked the best.
